The British Taekwondo Alliance has a long established history and is going from strength to strength, we are beginning to spread ourselves across the county and even have groups abroad who whish to affiliate to our ranks.

On this page we will be adding some of the events that have past and including some future ones that we feel may be of interest to our members and web site visitors.
 

After a year of constructing and developing the rules and protocols of the performance and technicalities of Poomse in the BTA, Barry Peake (National Coach) put into practice the new changes at the recent 1st BTA North West Taekwondo Championships. he took 3 members of the Preston School with him and 3 of them went home with Gold medals in the Poomse divisions and 2 golds in the Kyorugi. They were: Barry Peake, Chris Taylor, Chris Barwise, James Sutton.

On 8th of March 2005 the founder of WTF Taekwondo in Bristol, Master Thomas Yau who hails form Hong Kong but now lives in Melbourne Australia, came back to the city whilst on route to Hanover in Germany. Master Chris Davies was one of Master Yau's students and was eager to meet his old instructor again even if only for a few hours.

On 6th February Master Davies conducted a seminar at the club of Barry Peake, the BTA National Poomse Coach. Everyone enjoyed the session and bookings for Master Davies to return and to hold sessions at other clubs have been coming in as a result.

On the day of the Seminar, Instructor Carl Woolfenden successfully passed his 4th Dan pro- motion test.
